BeLLeArTi offers stylish temporary accommodation in Vienna, in apartments designed to be more than just functional places to stay.

Our apartments combine the character of historic Viennese period buildings with modern comforts and contemporary art. Each apartment has its own atmosphere and distinctive design.

The name BeLLeArTi means “fine arts”. This idea shapes our apartments and our approach to quality: carefully selected, furnished to a high standard and designed with respect for the existing architecture.

Every apartment tells its own story

Contemporary art is an integral part of BeLLeArTi.

Each apartment is dedicated to an artist or an artistic theme. The selected works are more than mere decoration—they are an integral part of each apartment’s design. Many of the artworks come from Vienna and the surrounding area, giving the apartments their distinctive character.

This is where contemporary art meets Viennese period architecture—each space unique, personal and in harmony with its surroundings.

Preserving Vienna’s historic buildings

Since 2011, we have been revitalising existing buildings and apartments with the aim of preserving the character of Vienna’s period architecture for the long term.

Where possible, historic features such as stucco, double doors, parquet floors, wooden box windows and original finishes are preserved, restored and thoughtfully developed. Existing building components and materials are also reused when they suit the building and its history. Wood, natural stone, historic tiles and other durable materials underscore the authenticity of the spaces. For demanding restoration projects, we work with experienced professionals in architecture, skilled trades and heritage conservation.

This is how we combine the existing building fabric with contemporary living comfort without losing the character of the buildings.

The people behind BeLLeArTi

Dr. Rudolf Schweinhammer is a native of Vienna and an art lover. His passion for architecture, art and distinctive spaces inspired the idea of transforming vacant apartments into characterful, individually designed homes.

Anne Silvert supports BeLLeArTi with organisation and design. With Swedish-Belgian roots and a keen eye for detail, she manages bookings and helps give each apartment its own atmosphere.

Together, they shape BeLLeArTi, with a strong commitment to design, quality and personal, reliable guest care.

BeLLeArTi in Reichenau an der Rax

In addition to our Vienna apartments, BeLLeArTi also has a property in Reichenau an der Rax. This traditional spa town at the foot of the Vienna Alps offers a different kind of temporary living: quieter, closer to nature, and shaped by the special atmosphere of the historic summer retreat.

Here, too, we uphold the same high standards as in Vienna. Existing spaces are carefully preserved, fitted out to a high standard and designed to make longer stays comfortable and feel like home.

Reichenau extends BeLLeArTi with a place where nature, history and individual living come together in a special way.
